Mapping out the delegation plan on a boardroom window

YPSF, headquartered in New York, is an ECOSOC-accredited UN NGO at UNHQ, Geneva, and Nairobi.

YPSF is an ECOSOC-accredited UN NGO headquartered in New York with consultative status at UNHQ, Geneva, and Nairobi, and I got involved for the same reason Horizon pulled me in: it offered young people direct access to spaces, in this case, formal international policy spaces, that they are not usually given a seat at.

As VP of Operations, I planned and oversaw operations for the largest youth UN delegation at the 2025 High-Level Political Forum, with 50+ representatives, and organized 3 events at United Nations Headquarters in New York for an organization with 900+ members across 89 operational countries.

YPSF gave me a different kind of operational experience than my startups, running logistics for a formally accredited international institution rather than a fast-moving company, and reinforced something I keep relearning: the skills that transfer best across very different rooms, clear communication, accountability, and knowing how to coordinate people you have never met in person, are rarely industry-specific.

YPSF was originally registered with the UN as a registered NGO under the name Art of our Community Foundation, and the official UN profile lists my name and country among the governing members.
